Finally pic of my romper

I haven't had any outfit photo for so long. This is my first romper. I wanted to get a romper for a very long time and finally found one that fits me at Topshop.
These photos are taken at the foyer below my flat. The Chinese New Year mood is up. Wonder what I should wear.
Anyway my friend just set up a online shop, do check her out :) http://partyatwork.wordpress.com

Balloons and Me

How is everyone's new year! Hope these past 2 weeks were fantastic!

I had my highs and lows. My boy and I went for our pre-wedding photoshoot. Wonder if this is popular in other countries too, here it is quite common, just that the style and locations for shoots vary.

Mine was due for shoot at 3 outdoor locations with 3 dresses! I was so excited. I studied many magazines and sites and thought that balloons are the best props! So my boy and I ordered 15 balloons, 12 pink and white balloons in a bunch, and 3 red heart shaped balloons.

However the weather conditions were not on my side. It poured so heavily after 1 location and we had yet used our balloons. Our photographer was nice enough to take some random shots with balloons (not these you see... I can't get my pics yet). Towards the end our big bunch of balloons flew off before we decided to let it go.

I would be having another shoot cause I am determined to have outdoor shoots. Do help me pray for good weather. :P

Delayed Christmas Posting

Merry Christmas! Oh, but this post is so delayed that I should be wishing a Happy New Year!
This holiday season has been quite hectic for me. New working term is starting soon, so there are lots of things to prepare and meetings to attend. This is also the time where I try to meet as many groups of friends as possible.

Christmas eve was memorable, with my new, 1- year old collegues. This happening bunch organised a gathering where we played board games, ate good food and dressed up one guy as a Santa. A simple event but with lots of laughter.

Christmas Gifts

Christmas Cake

Christmas Outfit

White T-shirt: Cotton On
Black Tank: Giordano
Black Pants, Bag, Shoes: Far East
Mini Santa Hat: Some shop in AMK hub
Initially my friends and I wanted an elaborate Christmas theme, but realised that most have no time to prepare. So in the end most of us wore santa hats or came in red and green. But me and my boy were in the black and white theme with santa hat.

I am really going to miss the holiday season.

Pink love

It has been so long since I had a outfit post. I usually take outfit posts when I go out with my Boy, so that is how long since we had any outings. This weekend we finally went out, and we watched "New Moon".

I thought it would be the best time to wear my new boots, since the cinema would be cold. There aren't many chances to wear in a country that is sunny almost 365 days. In the end, it rained and I had no chance of taking any outdoor photos. I only managed a pic at the subway.

Cardigan, boots, bag: Far East
Tank: Cotton On
Pink skirt (with cute bows and polka dots): Zara
Pink Tights: Online (Gmarket)

Hee, I forced my Boy to take this goofy pic. Doesn't he look like a big present? :P

Trip to an eco- farm

Hi! I have been absent from the blogsphere for quite some time. Missed reading blogs. This however has a very good reason. I was away at an eco- farm (part of my work to go there), and was deprived of internet connection for almost a week.

I do not have any outfits to post (cause it was a bagpacking kind of trip). The top pic is a goffy one of me wearing 3 straw hats (the other 2 were for my friends).

This beautiful farm is in Malaysia, Kahang. I had the most memorable experience of going down the padi fields to try transplanting of rice.

Realised that Singapore is very fast paced and it was a real great getaway to just slow down and enjoy the nature around. I will miss the fresh night air, the cute rabbits there, but not the insects (sorry I have phobia for them).

Do you have any farm experience of this sort?

Restyling of DIY ROM dress

I couldn't bear to just wear my ROM dress once, since I took so much pain to make it. My cousin's wedding was the best time to wear it again! I was the MC for the dinner that night, hence it was the best excuse to be slightly dressy.

I did not want to wear it all white like my ROM, hence decided to restyle it. My original dress had a self- made white lace belt. I changed it to a black belt.

You can see my original post here.

Since the dinner hall is going to be cold, I wore my thrifted black velvet bolero with beaded edges. I also brought along my vintage suede purse with gold edges. So glad my bag and love for vintage became a talking piece between me and my aunt.

This is the beautiful scenary of the Clarke Quay from the hotel where the dinner was held. And below are my goofy pictures around the hotel.
